Saban Films Acquires U.S., Canada Rights to Vincent Grashaw’s Crime Thriller ‘Keep Quiet’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Visit Films has sold “Keep Quiet,” which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, to Saban Films for the U.S. and Canada.

The film won the German Independence “Spirit of Cinema” Audience Award at the Oldenburg Film Festival.

The film is directed by Vincent Grashaw, who is known for his work on “What Josiah Saw” and “Bang Bang.”

“Keep Quiet” follows a weathered tribal cop and his new trainee, who must find a ruthless fugitive, whose return to their rural Indigenous reservation has exposed its darkest secrets and could ignite a violent gang war.

The thriller stars Lou Diamond Phillips (“Longmire,” “Courage Under Fire”), Nick Stahl (“Sin City,” “Hunter Hunter”), Dana Namerode (“Bang Bang,” “The A-Frame”), Elisha Pratt (“Killers of the Flower Moon,” “True Detective”), Irene Bedard (“Pocahontas,” “Songs My Brothers Taught Me”) and Lane Factor (“Reservation Dogs”).

The script is written by Zach Montague and produced by Ran Namerode and Angelia Adzic of Randomix Productions, Cole Payne of Traverse Media, and Grashaw himself.

Grashaw said, “ ‘Keep Quiet” is a story that speaks to the pain and resilience that live side-by-side in silence, and the cost of what happens when that silence breaks. Lou Diamond Phillips is a force of nature in this movie and the rest of the cast shines alongside him. I’m honored to be working with Saban Films, whose passion for bold, meaningful storytelling matches our own. Their support will give this film the chance to reach people in the way Randomix Productions and I had always hoped for.”

Stephen Break negotiated the deal for Saban Films with Ryan Kampe of Visit Films on behalf of the filmmakers.
