Justin Bieber Makes Colorful Statement on the Courts in Adidas’ Anthony Edwards 1 Sneakers
Grammy-winning singer Justin Bieber has cemented himself as a basketball star as of late, playing for the Skylrk team at The League, a popular invite-only basketball league in Los Angeles. He did just that on Thursday, showing off his athletic side in pastel Adidas sneakers.
Bieber made a statement on the courts in the activewear brand’s cotton candy-hued Anthony Edwards 1 basketball shoes. Featuring a blend of the Boost and Lightstrike midsoles, the lightweight sneakers are designed to provide unbeatable comfort. A rubber outsole, meanwhile, offers additional support. The kicks also feature a herringbone outsole, per the product description, designed to grip hardwood floors. The “Baby” hitmaker wore the vibrant basketball shoes alongside his emerald green uniform, finishing off with a highlighter yellow beanie from his fashion label Skylrk (more on it below).

The 24-year-old shooting guard launched his first collaboration with Adidas in 2023, releasing the aforementioned AE1 shoes that September. “The launch of the Anthony Edwards 1 is without a doubt, one of the pinnacles of my career and life to date,” Edwards said in a statement at the time. “Having the support of adidas Basketball, joining basketball legends who I’ve looked up to on their roster, is a dream come true. This is just the beginning — believe that.”
He was right. Earlier this month, Edwards launched his second sneaker with Adidas. Available in blue and orange, the shoes include the label’s Propulsion Plate for speed and a combination of the Lightstrike and Lightboost midsoles for a cushioned, springy feel. The brand plans to release more colorways in 2026.

Bieber himself entered the footwear biz this year, dropping his long-awaited fashion line in July after years of teasing the brand. In terms of shoes, Skylrk currently has two silhouettes: The Beach Slide and the Rest Slipper. However, Bieber recently shared a first glimpse of a pair of Skylrk sneakers (mesh sneakers in blue and pink), which will hopefully be hitting the virtual shelves soon.
