Anya Taylor-Joy’s Custom Dior Gown Merges Satin, Florals and Deep Pleating in Morocco

Anya Taylor-Joy continued her Dior streak in Marrakech on Saturday night, stepping onto the festival’s second red carpet in a custom gown built around satin structure and deep pleating. The look marked her third Dior appearance of the weekend as she carried out jury duties for the 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival.

The gown featured a saffron satin bodice cut straight across and edged with a tight line of three-dimensional floral detailing. Those small petals ran around the neckline, marking a clear break between the structured top and the skirt’s softer construction. The satin was lightly gathered at the top and pulled in at the waist.

From the waist down, the gown shifted into full pleated volume. The skirt was constructed from lightweight chiffon in the same tonal range, cut with long knife pleats. In motion, the skirt revealed additional inner panels that maintained the column of color from hem to floor.

Taylor-Joy finished the look with Tiffany & Co.’s Schlumberger Flame earrings and a Schlumberger Sixteen Stone ring, continuing the diamond-forward jewelry approach she has favored through the festival’s opening events. Her hair was styled in a clean, high updo that kept the neckline and floral detailing visible from all angles.

The appearance followed two Dior looks from the actress who became one of the brand’s global ambassadors in October 2021. On Friday night, Taylor-Joy wore a custom black interpretation of a tiered silhouette from Dior’s spring 2026 runway for the festival’s opening ceremony. Earlier on Saturday, she arrived at the jury press conference in a rare Galliano-era Dior dress from spring 2001, built from linked knit panels and paired with Aquazzura sandals.

Saturday’s custom gown extended that momentum, offering a third reference point in her ongoing Dior narrative for the weekend — this time shifting into saturated color, softened pleating and floral detailing while preserving the structured elements that have defined her festival wardrobe so far.
