Ashley Park, Penn Badgley and More Headlined 2025 Fashion Island’s Event
Earlier this October, StyleWeekOC held its 14th annual event — merging together the worlds of fashion and cinema, in partnership with Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) for the second year in a row. After the success of last year, the two held a five-day series to highlight the intersection of fashion, film and design.
Guests were treated to an immersive experience with celebrity appearances, interactive masterclasses, shopping parties, fashion shows, beauty activations, red carpet moments and panels — all set in California against the Fashion Island’s palm trees and sunshine.
The week included a Neiman Marcus runway show to benefit CASA OC and an in-store shopping experience with top fall looks, an Opening Nights Gala with NBFF to spotlight Fashion Island’s restaurants and more.
Ryma Chikhoune, senior reporter at WWD, sat down with “Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park in a panel presented by WWD to discuss her career and style. Actor Penn Badgley presented his book “Crushmore” alongside his fellow “Podcrushed” podcast cohosts Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin.
StyleWeekOC also featured a Bloomingdale’s beauty panel and interactive glam treatment experience, live fashion performances, a Creed fragrance masterclass presented by Neiman Marcus, the West Coast premiere of the fashion films “Akris — Fashion With a Heritage” and “Thom Browne: The Man Who Tailors Dreams” and more.
Cinq a Sept, Paige, Rag & Bone, L’Agence, Veronica Beard, On, Monica Vinader, Rails, Todd Snyder, Good American, Alice + Olivia and more were among the participating retailers and custom activations on site.
Sponsors for the event included UCI Health, Los Angeles Times, Visit Newport Beach, Fashion Island and the City of Newport Beach.
