Ava Phillippe Takes a Turn on the Red Carpet in Chunky Silver Platform Sandals
Ava Phillippe took a turn on the red carpet in metallic platform sandals while attending Charlize Theron’s fifth annual block party for her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
The metallic platforms featured an elevated upper that measured between 2.5 and 3 inches with a chunky heel.
The 25-year-old paired her standout sandals with a ruffled frock in butter yellow from her collaboration with Aqua, which retails for $298 and features a V-neck design, sleeveless, adjustable straps and beaded embellishments.

Platform sandals are frequently seen on the red carpet. The style is known for its comfort and versatility, in contrast to stiletto heels.
Host Charlize Theron also chose a pair of sandals for the charity event. The “Fast & Furious” actress posed for pictures in a pair of flat black strappy sandals, which were made of leather. The flats also included a rounded upper and padded midsole for comfort.

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project invests in and advances the health and safety of young people in Southern Africa to create a more equitable future. First created by Theron in 2007 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of young people in her home country of South Africa, the geographic scope of the organization has since expanded, hitting major milestones along the way, working with several program partners to create transformative change amongst multiple communities, while also leading the way with various youth leadership opportunities.
