‘Big Brother’ Season 27 Theme and First Look House Photos Revealed
A new “Big Brother” theme will roll out when Season 27 airs with a 90-minute premiere on July 10, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by another 90-minute Sunday episode on July 13.
While CBS previously announced the new segment “Big Brother: Unlocked,” where three players from previous seasons will return every other Friday to analyze gameplay, they have also revealed first-look photos and videos of the new house, Hotel Mystére.
The theme of this year’s house has been unveiled as “Big Brother: A Summer of Mystery.” An official synopsis teases that the premiere of Season 27 will bring “unexpected twists and turns, including a masked visitor, a secret accomplice, and the shocking arrival of a ‘Mystery Houseguest’ whose identity will remain under wraps.” Julie Chen Moonves returns as the host of the CBS reality series.
Some of the “Big Brother” house highlights include a mystery hotel theme, reception area, living room with chess guardians, attic bedroom filled with oddities, sleeper car bunk room, rooftop garden kitchen, secretive wine cellar, Victorian conservatory lounge and bar and boxing ring gym.
This season marks a 25-year milestone for “Big Brother,” which began airing in 2000. Fans can expect extended 90-minute Wednesday episodes and exclusive behind-the-scenes access with the debut of “Big Brother: Unlocked” every other Friday night beginning July 25. Additionally, viewers can watch the 24/7 live feeds starting Sunday, July 13, at 9:30 p.m. PT on Paramount+ and PlutoTV. The cast for Season 27 of “Big Brother” has yet to be announced.
