Brooke Shields kept it classic at Netflix’s special screening of “Goodbye June” on Monday at the Whitby Hotel in New York, pairing a modern all-black look with the tried-and-true pointed-toe pump.

The model and author went with a black leather pump featuring a sharp toe and a slim mid-height heel. The classic pumps had smooth matte finish and clean sidewalls, and the low-cut vamp keeps the shape close to a traditional pointed pump. There’s no platform or visible hardware either, keeping the silhouette straightforward and familiar.

Shields paired the timeless pump with a touch of leather edge, opting for a structured black tunic and a softly draped skirt. The matte leather tunic had a straight shape, while the skirt gathered into folds that taper toward the hem. She kept accessories minimal, opting for understated jewelry and carrying a small black clutch.

The look adds to the string of monochrome outfits Shields has worn throughout the year. At the 2025 Tony Awards in June, she chose an all-red ensemble — complete with red patent pumps — alongside a coordinated Balmain dress and a Radio City–themed clutch made from historic curtain fabric. In November, she moved toward a black-and-white palette during a short suede-boot run tied to Citymeals’ Power Lunch and an Alice + Olivia event, where she alternated between matte block-heeled boots and a pointed kitten heel pair.

Her latest pump choice also lands within a broader return to classic pointed-toe silhouettes across celebrity wardrobes. Earlier this month, Angel Reese wore Gianvito Rossi’s signature pointed pump for Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show, pairing the Italian label’s clean lines with an all-black Chanel dress. The shape has been resurfacing throughout the season as stylists revisit foundational pumps alongside heavier fall textures. Still, she and other celebrities are still finding time to work a crispy white shoe, when the occasion calls for it.
