Brooks Nader Embraces Minimalist Luxe With Aquazzura’s Barely There Sandals at Jaguar Event

Brooks Nader stepped out in her go-to pair of Aquazzura‘s barely there sandals in gold. The Sports Illustrated model joined Jaguar at Monterey Car Week to celebrate the Jaguar Type OO, marking the British luxury brand’s new design on Saturday in Monterey, Calif.

For the event, Nader wore an asymmetric beige Stella McCartney minidress and repeated a pair of Aquazzura‘s Purist 105 mirrored leather sandals, which she wore earlier this year. Aquazzura’s Purist sandals are made in Italy from a supple gold leather. The shoes are set on 105mm stiletto heels and feature two slim straps on the upper that cross over, meeting at the center, forming an X-like design.

The shoes feature a rounded-toe design, and the foot is held in place thanks to another slim strap around the ankle. The straps combine on the back of the heel, creating another overlapping X on top of the heel counter behind the foot.

The sandals feature Aquazzura’s signature powder pink hue on the soles, with a golden pineapple emblem located on the heel. The brand adds the gold fruit to all of their shoe designs, as they believe it is a symbol of good luck that follows their fans with each step.

The Aquazzura Purist line also includes pointed-toe pumps in an array of neutral and classic colors like beige, black and leopard print. Like Nader’s sandals, the Purist designs were created to be an “essential wardrobe staple,” according to the brand.

Nader previously wore the shoes during an outing in Los Angeles as she was spotted leaving Craig’s restaurant in June. For that ensemble, she paired the gold heels with a full-length black dress with a spaghetti halter strap and a plunging V-neck.

Aquazzura was founded in 2011 by Colombian designer Edgardo Osorio, who founded and based the luxury footwear brand in Florence. Since the company’s inception, it has received support from celebrities and royalty like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, as well as pop culture icons like Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Charlize Theron, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and more.
