Cynthia Erivo Levels Up a Leather Look With Towering Christian Louboutin Boots
On Thursday night, Cynthia Erivo was spotted out in Midtown Manhattan in towering platform boots that, quite literally, took her street style look to new heights. Currently on a whirlwind press tour for “Wicked: For Good,” the actress chose Christian Louboutin’s quilted shoes — marking her second silhouette from the luxury footwear label in the span of 24 hours.

The glossy, textured boots featured a tall, sculptural heel and a blocky platform base. Christian Louboutin’s signature red sole provided a playful, eye-grabbing contrast against her all-black ensemble. The unmistakably bold shoes peeked out from underneath the actress’ black flowy maxidress, which she wore underneath a long, edgy leather jacket featuring structured shoulders. Erivo’s Christian Louboutin boots are available in black leather as well.

Erivo accented the outfit with a slouchy brown leather bag — making the case for the once-controversial black-and-brown color combo — as well as oversized hoop earrings and a turquoise pendant necklace. Her colorful chunky rings and long nails punched up the sleek look.
Earlier in the day, Erivo made an appearance on “The View,” where she arrived at ABC Studios in black patent leather Christian Louboutin boots with a skinny stiletto heel and its hallmark fiery red sole. For the early morning outing, Erivo was clad in a furry brown-and-black jacket with sharp shoulders and a fringe hem. On the accessories front, the actress toted the same chocolate brown bag and chunky silver hoops.

The release of “Wicked: For Good” concludes two full years of press tours — and dozens of exquisite designer fashion moments — for the cast, which also includes Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum. Might as well end on a wickedly stylish note.
