Deion Sanders’ First Nike Sneaker Is Coming Back With Original Details for the First Time Ever

After the recent return of the black-and-purple “Ravens” Air Diamond Turf, another one of Deion Sanders’ original Nike sneakers is coming back to stores soon.

The Nike Air Diamond Turf returns to retail this month in its original “Emerald” look. The classic 1993 style was last released in 2017 and receives its latest reissue as part of Nike’s renewed partnership with Sanders.

With a full colorway of Black/Mystic Green/White/Golden Tussah, the sneaker combines a white leather and black nubuck upper with emerald green and gold accents throughout. The upcoming rerelease features true-to-original details including era-specific tongue branding and a patterned tongue, the latter of which has not been seen since the shoe’s original ’93 iteration. The Emerald version of the Air Diamond Turf was first reissued in 2010 and again in ’17.

Unlike the model’s famous Atlanta Falcons-themed style, this early ‘90s Air Diamond Turf colorway is notable for not being connected to any of the teams Sanders played with professionally. The sneaker’s so-called “Ravens” look is also not actually tied to the franchise, as it was released three years prior to the establishment of the Baltimore team.

Along with the Air Diamond Turf Emerald sneaker, the colorway will be transferred to the gridiron on a new Diamond Turf 93 TD Cleat.

Still to come from the Air Diamond Turf in 2025 is a new “Must Be the Money” style inspired by a memorable music video from the former two-sport star’s brief rap career. And in 2026, his second signature shoe, the Air Diamond Turf 2, will get the retro treatment.

Sanders’ Nike Air Diamond Turf Emerald is set to be released on Aug. 29 for a retail price of $155 from SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The upcoming SKU has a style code of IB2240-001. A full look at the ’25 version appears below.
