Lil Yacthy dropped a new single and accompanying music video Wednesday night, and in it may have come the first look at his next Nike collaboration.

The Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Black/Red got a brief spotlight early on in the video for “I Need Meds” and continued to pop up in the background throughout. Deviating from his two previous versions of the classic sneaker, this iteration features mismatched mustache branding for his label Concrete Boys. On the right shoe is the same mark as its predecessor, but the left features a new varsity letter “C” with the jackhammer figure interposed. The same figure then takes its form and place with embroidery on the lateral heel.

Colorblocking for this Air Force 1 Low matches that of another unreleased Lil Yachty collaboration in black and purple. The bulk of the shoe is rendered in black, opting for red only for the branding, outsole and sockliner.

Lil Yachty, who’s been tapped to reveal several high-profile Nike projects in recent years, got his first Swoosh sneaker release last fall through his white and blue AF1 Low. That was then followed up this summer with a much more colorful iteration with patent leather construction to help it stand out even further.

The rapper had a brief controversy over his sneakers when he unleashed a profanity-laced tirade at a convention last year aimed at a critic of his first Nike release. He then apologized a week later for the outburst and characterized his response to criticism as “corny.”

In addition to the black and purple variant previously seen, Lil Yachty also has another unreleased iteration in dark green croc skin.

So far, there’s been no confirmation on a release for the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Black/Red. WWD sister publication Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates.
