Doechii Puts a Leather Lace-up Twist on the Office Siren in Buckled Knee-high Stilettos at Camp Flog Gnaw
Doechii took the office siren trend to new heights while she took the stage on Sunday.
The Grammy-winning artist performed at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw music festival in Los Angeles, which also featured performances by A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino, and of course, Tyler, the Creator. Originally scheduled for the previous weekend, the event was postponed due to weather.

For her set, Doechii donned a pair of statement hybrid boots. The knee-high lace-up style featured black laces crisscrossing over the shaft, which appeared to be crafted from leather. A strap at the foot and another at the top, each fastened with a buckle, added structure, while silver grommets brought extra edge.

Doechii’s boots were rounded out with a sharp pointed toe as well as a thin stiletto heel that reached at least 4 inches. The sleek pointed toe and heel were reminiscent of other shoes she’s worn while on stage before, like the slingback heels she paired with knee-high socks in May.
The “Nissan Altima” singer paired her boots with a pinstripe getup. She wore a black jacket over high-waisted matching shorts. Her jacket featured a corset bodice as well as flowing sleeves, and it opened down the center to reveal a lace-up component underneath, coordinating with her footwear.

Doechii is the latest to join fellow musicians in the footwear trend. Lace-up boots have been seen on a few other pop divas lately, with Mariah Carey wearing a pair of lace printed Christian Louboutin boots earlier this fall, and Tyla performing in gladiator-style boots this summer.
