Dr. Martens Teams Up With ‘Wednesday’ for a Darker and Bolder Second Drop

Dr. Martens and “Wednesday” have unveiled their second collaboration, which will include new designs and details inspired by the world of Wednesday Addams. The second installment of Dr. Martens x Wednesday follows the 2024’s debut collection and will be available on Oct. 8.

Following the success of last year’s debut, the new collection aims to dive deeper into the gothic world of the Netflix show’s main star, played by Jenna Ortega, and reimagines Dr. Martens’ most popular silhouettes with details inspired by the show and the Nevermore Academy, including the purple found in the student’s uniforms.

The collection blends the gothic energy of the show with with Dr. Martens’ signature designs, providing edge as well as catering to the show’s loyal fans. Standout pieces from the collection include the Jadon Wednesday Boot in Nappa Lux leather, which features stained-glass embroidery and charms referencing Wednesday and Enid’s dorm.

The backstrap of the boot is printed with the Nevermore Academy logo, while the boot’s sock is purple with a print of Wednesday with her umbrella, and the boot’s heel is marked with an embossed version of the Wednesday logo. The Quad platform sole is secured with our yellow welt stitching, and the heel loop is signed with purple script.

The 460 Wednesday Boot is made from velvet and leather with studded straps, and the bold backstrap statement “Outcasts Are In” itched in white. The buckle straps are decorated with silver cone studs, a removable stained-glass window charm and a custom logo buckle.

Aside from boots, the Buzz Wednesday mary jane features chunky soles, stained-glass-inspired embroidery and debossed logos, while the Elphie Wednesday Ballet Flat with delicate eyelet-and-lace detailing on the heel counter. The collection also includes the Mini Wednesday Backpack that is embroidered with spiderwebs and finished with silver-tone hardware.
