‘Evil Dead Rise’ Sequel Gets a Groovy Filming Update

The next chapter of The Evil Dead is one step closer to release. Filming has officially wrapped on Evil Dead Burn, with director Sébastien Vaniček posting a behind-the-scenes video on social media that was then shared by the franchise’s official account to commemorate the occasion and act as a brutal first teaser of sorts for what’s to come. Filming on the project began in New Zealand back in July, in hopes of bringing the Deadites back to the big screen on July 24, 2026. Although it’s a major milestone for the film, any details about the story, penned by Vaniček’s Infested partner Florent Bernard, remain well under wraps at this time.
