PARIS — For Emma Stone, a Capucines bag is always a good idea.

The Oscar-winning actress has been linked with Louis Vuitton’s star handbag ever since her first campaign for the brand in 2018.

The French fashion house’s new ads, which break in print on Thursday, show Stone and fellow brand ambassador Hoyeon touting the Capucines and Side Trunk bags in fall-friendly colors ranging from cognac to deep navy and taupe.

Shot by U.S. photographer Ethan James Green, they are portrayed against drawings of traditional Paris buildings.

The leather goods campaign is the sequel of the fall ads, unveiled in July, that showed the two women lounging in items from Nicolas Ghesquière’s travel-inspired collection, alongside Vuitton’s latest handbag launch, the Express.

Stone, sporting a new bob haircut, attended Ghesquière’s spring 2026 show at the Louvre museum last week wearing a white ribbed knit dress and matching cardigan accessorized with a black Express bag with Monogram straps.

Meanwhile, Hoyeon walked in the show, dressed in a long knitted bathrobe coat and carrying a Speedy bag. Best known for starring in the Netflix series “Squid Games,” the South Korean model and actress previously appeared in a 2022 campaign for the Twist bag, and was photographed by Green for fall 2023.

The Capucines bag was introduced in 2013 as Vuitton embarked on an upscaling drive and launched higher-priced bags. Every year since 2019, the house has invited a group of contemporary artists to customize the bags for its annual Artycapucines collection. Past participants include Daniel Buren, Urs Fischer, Alex Israel, Peter Marino and Jean-Michel Othoniel.
