Hailey Bieber's Cashmere Taupe Nails Are the Mani Equivalent of Your Favorite Sweater—See the Photos
If my Minnesota weather can be trusted, it officially feels like fall. I woke up to a 54-degree morning, which meant one thing: time to pull out the cozy clothes! And it seems as though I'm on the same wavelength as Ms. Hailey Rhode Baldwin Bieber, whose latest manicure is also ready for sweater weather.
Bieber celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary with husband Justin on a scenic vacation, which is where said sweater-season nails made their appearance. Bieber continues to be one of our favorite nail trendsetters, so when she deviates from her signature glazed nails, we're taking notes. This time, she opted for a creamy taupe shade that beautifully blended light brown and gray tones for a super soft finish reminiscent of that dreamy, plush cashmere sweater you pull out on chilly mornings and crisp fall afternoons. The satiny finish and light yet saturated color feels almost textural, and they appeared to change color in the light, going from a darker mink brown to grayish-beige as the sun shifted.
As usual, Bieber's nails were a medium length and filed into her preferred almond shape. It's not beige or nude, brown or gray—it's all of the above, and we have a feeling it's going to be a very popular pick at the nail salon very soon. At home, try Chanel's Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color in Particulière.
If you haven't started your fall manicure moodboard yet, Mrs. Bieber has gone ahead and done some of the work for you—and so have we! We asked some of our favorite nail artists for their biggest fall nail color trend predictions, and creamy, cozy shades you want to wrap yourself up in—just like Bieber's cashmere taupe—are right on the money this season. Think rich browns, glamorous reds, and unexpected olives. Basically, if you'd wear the color as a cashmere sweater, you can (and should) wear it on your nails too!
