Heidi Klum Teases Her Return to ‘Project Runway’ in New Season 21 Trailer
“I’m back,” Heidi Klum says in a newly released “Project Runway” teaser trailer, “and it’s good to be home.”
Klum returns for the 21st season of the series, reclaiming her title as a host. Premiering on July 31, the show will also feature Nina Garcia and Law Roach as judges, while former contestant Christian Siriano, who won season four of the series, will serve as a mentor to the contestants.
Klum hosted the series for 16 years, taking up the mantle when it first premiered in 2004 on Bravo. She left in 2018 for a different hosting duty, switching over to the reality competition series “Making the Cut” on Prime Video, which she created and presented alongside Tim Gunn.

In addition to Siriano, “Project Runway” has helped kickstart the careers of several other designers including Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello and Bishme Cromartie. Read more about the previous winners and their post-“Project Runway” journeys here.
Season 21 of the reality competition series will premiere on Freeform at 9 p.m. EDT on July 31, with two episodes set to air on the network and hit Disney+ and Hulu soon after. Subsequent episodes of the show will air every week at 10 p.m. EDT.

Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries produce “Project Runway.” Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland executive produce on behalf of Spyglass, while Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker and San Heng executive produce on behalf of Alfred Street Industries. Siriano and Garcia also take on the role of executive producer.
