Jordan Chiles Gives Casual Cool a Luxury Upgrade With Chunky Balenciaga Sneakers in New York
Jordan Chiles went with a comfortable but cool look following a morning of press.
The Olympic gymnast made an appearance on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday to discuss her new memoir and the 2024 Paris Games. Afterward, she made a quick change before heading out in New York City with a few bags in tow. The talk show appearance came the morning after the “Dancing With the Stars” finale, which Chiles was competing on. She and her partner, Ezra Sosa, placed third overall.

Following her appearance on “GMA,” Chiles slipped into a pair of Balenciaga sneakers. Her Track Trail Laces sneakers were covered in a striking white overlay with mesh peeking through underneath the panel design. A chunky white base grounded the shoes. The only pop of color came from the laces, which were a soft shade of lilac.

Chiles wore her chunky sneakers with an equally casual outfit. She paired a white oversize textured vest with matching sweatpants. Under her outerwear, Chiles added a white long-sleeve top to give the look a sleek monochromatic aesthetic. The athlete added simple drop earrings to her ensemble but otherwise kept the outfit accessory-free.

Though she tends to wear sneakers from brands like Nike, Jordan and more, Chiles’ footwear style spans from strappy sandals to platforms to cool boots. Last month, she went to an NBA game wearing Timberland x Telfar boots. In September, Chiles hit the Off-White runway show in New York during wearing strappy silver metallic heels. Just like her performances on “DWTS,” Chiles’ footwear collection has quite the range.
