Julia Fox Balances Matte Black Crocs and Simone Rocha’s Bejeweled Crocs on ‘Elsbeth’ Set

Julia Fox’s on-set footwear lineup for “Elsbeth” on Thursday proved she’s as committed to platform Crocs as she is to theatrical stilettos. The actress cycled through two distinct pairs while on set in New York, including a return to Simone Rocha’s bejeweled take on the brand’s Siren clog.

Her first look paired navy wide-leg trousers with a sharply contrasted navy-and-white button-down shirt, worn untucked for an oversize drape. Anchoring the silhouette was a black platform clog, likely the unisex Stomp silhouette, which features Crocs’ molded upper cut in matte black with a closed round toe and ventilation ports across the forefoot. The exaggerated sole stacked height under both heel and forefoot, giving the utilitarian slip-on a solid, blocky presence beneath the tailored trousers.

Later, Fox switched to the white Simone Rocha x Crocs Siren clog, a high-heeled mule from the brands’ ongoing collaboration. The style swaps Crocs’ signature sport strap for an open back and lifts the profile on a sculpted platform front with a block heel. Its white base was covered in Rocha’s signature embellishments: oversize faux pearls, multifaceted crystals and clustered floral Jibbitz across the upper and wrapping the midsole. Fox wore them bare-ankled with black drawstring shorts and a gray tank top, letting the embellished shoes do the talking.

Fox’s history with the Siren goes back nearly a year. She shared photos of herself wearing the same white pair last October while vacationing in Greece. Since its first drop in April 2024, the Simone Rocha collaboration has reimagined Crocs’ most recognizable silhouettes with jet beading, crystal studs and pearlescent charms, introduced on the London Fashion Week runway before hitting retail. The Siren itself has since appeared in new colorways, including latte and powder pink, in subsequent releases.

For Fox, the platform clog moment slots neatly alongside a summer rotation heavy on experimental footwear. In the past week alone, she’s worn heelless strappy sandals by Cakey Sportsman and Saint Laurent’s sharply angled Romy mules. Compared to those statement heels, Thursday’s pairing of matte black clogs and jeweled Sirens underscored her comfort with extremes — moving between industrial minimalism and maximalist ornament without breaking stride.

“Elsbeth” is a CBS legal dramedy following Carrie Preston’s quirky attorney Elsbeth Tascioni as she navigates cases in New York, a spinoff of “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight.” While Fox is not a part of the show’s credited cast, her presence on set suggests she will be involved in some capacity.
