Julia Fox Puts Rare Le Silla Hard Rock Sandals in Rotation on ‘Elsbeth’ Set

Julia Fox’s shoe streak on the set of “Elsbeth” in New York has swung from bubble-letter kitsch to pointed severity. On Friday, she alternated between Le Silla’s archival Hard Rock heels and a pair of narrow black boots, a reminder that her on-set footwear lives at the extremes.

The Hard Rock design — a rare Le Silla style that has resurfaced mainly on resale channels — is impossible to miss. Metallic silver toes peek out from a black mesh overlay, its fishnet cut framing tactile bubble-lettering that spells “Hard Rock” across the vamp. Thin metallic cords wrap the ankle in loops before tying off above the calf, with a low stiletto heel keeping the proportion taut and angular.

She layered a sheer black mesh long-sleeve with striped arms over a black bra, balancing the transparency with a flowing white midi skirt. An oversize oval-buckle belt sliced through the waist, while a two-tone satchel, mirrored wraparound sunglasses and a tied black scarf at the chin pushed the look firmly into theatrical territory.

Later, the palette darkened. A long trench with a sheer, trailing hem topped a grey turtleneck and fitted black leather pants. Anchoring the look: pointed black ankle boots with a close-cut shaft and slim heel, their blunt sharpness steering the silhouette into strict, vertical lines.

This kind of binary is becoming Fox’s calling card on the set of “Elsbeth.” Just last week, she toggled between matte black Crocs and Simone Rocha’s crystal-studded Sirens in the same shoot, collapsing industrial minimalism and maximalist flourish into a single rotation. Earlier in August, she bent the line the other way: wearing Saint Laurent’s Romy mules at Cara Delevingne’s birthday, offsetting their architectural cut with a retro-sport outfit.

“Elsbeth,” a CBS legal dramedy spinoff of “The Good Wife” and “The Good Fight,” is currently filming in New York with Carrie Preston reprising her role as attorney Elsbeth Tascioni.
