Kate Bosworth gave her floral dress a metallic kick at Fantastic Fest in Austin on Saturday, arriving in Manolo Blahnik’s gold patent pumps.

The stilettos carried a pointed toe and low vamp, finished with a 105mm heel in mirrored leather. Their clean, high-shine build is one of Blahnik’s signatures, designed to elongate the line of the leg while keeping the silhouette pared back.

Bosworth wore the pumps with Alessandra Rich’s rose-print midi, a puff-sleeved cut trimmed with ruffles and covered buttons. She was styled by Katya Giles Netter. Justin Long, her husband and co-star in the upcoming film “Coyotes,” joined her in lederhosen with suede lace-ups.

The choice lands as Blahnik himself expands his footprint. Last week, the designer opened his first stand-alone boutique in Milan’s Golden Triangle. The two-story store pays tribute to his late mother, drawing on the black-and-white tiled kitchen of his childhood home in Spain. Elements inspired by Constantin Brâncusi’s Endless Column appear throughout, emphasizing Blahnik’s interest in geometry and repetition — qualities echoed in the design of his pointed heels.

The Milan launch coincides with the brand’s sponsorship of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s “Marie Antoinette Style” exhibition in London, where Blahnik will present a capsule of twelve shoes referencing the queen’s dress, furnishings and rose garden. It is a busy September for the label, with both the boutique and exhibition reinforcing its status as a house defined by historical detail and artisan craft.

Bosworth’s gold stilettos also trace a broader red-carpet mood. On Friday, Becky G wore towering metallic platforms in Madrid for Carolina Herrera’s spring 2026 show, pairing them with another floral dress. Earlier this month, Jennifer Aniston styled a loafer-inspired pump with a marbled gold heel in New York. From platforms to stilettos, the finish is cutting across silhouettes as a go-to accent.

“Coyotes,” a horror comedy directed by Colin Minihan, follows a Hollywood Hills family fighting off a pack of coyotes, with Long in the lead and Bosworth in the ensemble cast. The movie will open in theaters on October 3.
