Katseye Coordinate Strappy Stilettos, Crystal Embellishments and Slouchy Boots on the MTV VMAs Red Carpet
Katseye arrived at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards 2025 with a unified shoe story. For their VMAs debut in New York, the HYBE x Geffen girl group blended gothic notes with barely-there silhouettes and sky-high height.

Daniela Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman formed the stiletto core, all in black single-strap heels. Laforteza’s pair leaned into a platform base, while Avanzini and Bannerman kept to slimmer constructions, each finished with an ankle strap.

Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel also stayed within the sandal frame but shifted into shine. Both wore crystal-embellished pairs with thin straps wrapping the ankle.
Benee and Yoonchae Jeong closed the lineup in boots, offering the night’s heaviest silhouettes. Benee chose pointed black boots that disappeared under her hem, while Jeong’s knee-high leather style cut in a slouchy fit was on full display.

The coordination built on a clear pattern. Since debuting in late 2023, Katseye has turned footwear into a calling card, using synchronized silhouettes to mark red carpets and festival stages. That has included Adidas by Stella McCartney sneakers at Lollapalooza and Anna Sui-styled custom boots during their Jingle Ball run. That approach has only helped them expand their fashion and footwear influence. From rhinestone-covered Capezio dance sneakers at the 2024 MAMAs to stacked Harness boots at Coach’s New York Fashion Week show last September, Katseye has made footwear central to both their styling and their crossover appeal.
The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards take place live at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, hosted by LL Cool J. This year’s show features performances from Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Doja Cat, Katseye and other artists, celebrating music’s biggest names and electrifying cultural moments worldwide.
