Kelly Rowland Lights Up Red Carpet in Neon Harbison Studio Dress at Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala
Kelly Rowland brought neon hues to the red carpet at the 2025 Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday. The singer sported a hooded Harbison Studio gown featuring a bodice cutout, jeweled embellishments and a backless silhouette. Rowland added on gold and diamond-encrusted jewelry, including stacked bracelets and rings.

Stylist Wilford Lenov, who also counts television personality Jeannie Mai and “Never Have I Ever” star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as clients, dressed Rowland for the occasion.
The former member of Destiny’s Child wore her dark tresses in a sleek bob, while makeup artist Wendi Miyake gave her a sparkly smoky eye and a nude lip.

Fashion designer Aurora James’ Fifteen Percent Pledge was founded in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd, asking companies to reflect the Black community by dedicating 15 percent of their shelf space to Black-owned brands. This year’s gala, cohosted by Fifteen Percent Pledge chairwoman and Skims founding partner Emma Grede, raised $3 million for Black-owned businesses.
“Thank you Aurora James and Emma Grede for an unforgettable evening at the Fifteen Percent Pledge gala,” Rowland wrote on Instagram. “The work you are doing in creating sustainable and supportive ecosystems for Black-owned businesses to succeed is necessary! Especially in times such as these.”
On Thursday, Rowland made the case for feminine suiting on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” wearing a full Helsa look consisting of a double-breasted blazer with peak lapels and a strapless foldover dress. A pair of black Converse and layered necklaces, including an emerald and diamond-encrusted cross chain, completed her look.
Helsa is one of WWD’s emerging workwear brands to watch. Founder, supermodel Elsa Hosk spoke of her label’s capture of the Gen Z and Millennial demographic in a January interview. One of Revolve’s bestselling brands, Helsa specializes in basics that are elegant, yet approachable.
“I think what really connects with Gen Z and Millennials is that Helsa offers something that feels thoughtful, elevated and accessible,” Hosk said via email.
