Kelsea Ballerini Has a ‘Wizard of Oz’-inspired Moment With Sparkly Red Pumps at the CMA Awards 2025
Kelsea Ballerini brought a firey ‘fit to her latest event.
The “Blindsided” singer stepped onto the red carpet ahead of the CMA Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville. She matched the carpet in her head-to-toe scarlet look.

Ballerini slipped into a pair of red hot heels for the awards that had a “Wizard of Oz” feel. Her heels were a bright ruby color and were adorned with small sparkling red crystals. Her Dorothy-inspired pumps featured an angular, pointed toe and were grounded by a slim heel that reached at least 4 inches.

It wasn’t long ago that Ballerini donned another all-red outfit. For a performance in Chicago, the singer styled burgundy boots with glossy patent leather uppers. She wore the knee-high boots with a maroon catsuit featuring a midsection cutout.

This time, Ballerini paired her crimson heels with a matching dress. Her bright red strapless midi dress was full of drama. Made of whimsical sheer organza, the garment featured a large floral motif across the bodice. She skipped accessories and completed her look with a bold red lip.
The 59th Annual CMA Awards took place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, broadcast on ABC and available for streaming on Hulu the next day. Lainey Wilson returned as the solo host, leading a star-studded night that celebrated both established and emerging country music talents. Top nominees included Ella Langley and Megan Moroney with six nominations each.
