Kiko Kostadinov Men’s Spring 2026: An Island in the Sun
Kiko Kostadinov mused on life in an island town for spring, turning one section of a parking garage into a sandy stretch bathed in golden yellow light, with the weather doing its part to turn the place tropical.
But it wasn’t what people might want to wear for leisure that the designer wanted to consider. The wardrobe locals might need for an everyday that includes work, downtime and bedtime is what he went for.
A chronological run of show even came with timecodes and by the looks of it, it’s a busy day that stretches from a touch before 6 a.m. to well after 1 a.m.
It’s the details that are key in Kostadinov’s menswear and make it shine. Fabric first, with a textile palette that ran the gamut of denim twill, crinkled cottons but also textured wools and fringed jacquards.
Then there were pintucks in the back of a seemingly simple black suit that pulled it subtly towards the waist, emphasizing the shoulders. A boilersuit with the hem rolled up at the knee came with a diagonal opening and a contrasted print placket.
One blouson had a front panel that puffed forward into a kangaroo pocket, marrying up coolness with functionality. Fitted workwear-inspired separates had pockets aplenty on the front and back.
The show notes spoke of that fictional island as hard to place, but with this smart and breezy lineup, Kostadinov won’t have trouble staying on the map.
