Kris Jenner Embraces Head-to-toe Monochrome Dressing in Bow Strap Heels

Kris Jenner put her spin on head-to-toe monochrome dressing with a business-ready look, including minimalist heels, while out in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The reality star was out and about with a pair of black leather slingback heels on foot which loosely embraced the ballet-inspired aesthetic seen across many footwear styles these days. She wore a stiletto with a knotted bow detail at the ankle strap, which contributed a certain romantic, dancerly flair to the set. The upper was cut away at the sides for an ultra-minimalist vib,e and the vamp featured a rounded outline and narrowed into a triangular toe box in the manner of a classic pointed pump. A slightly flared skinny stiletto heel elevated the pair. The shoes were layered with black tights which made them an even more subtle tonal footwear statement.

The understated black heel has been having a moment lately; just this week, Reese Witherspoon wore pointed slingbacks with a slender stiletto heel at the launch of her book she co-wrote with Harlan Coben.

Jenner paired her black heels with a structured jacket crafted with a utilitarian sensibility, featuring a high collar, prominent front pocket flaps and a wide belt cinching the waist. A flowy knee-length skirt with an asymmetrical hemline was paired with the jacket. Her accessories included stud earrings, black sunglasses and a small black purse with a classic 1950s shape to it. After sporting a blond bob last week at the Shark Beauty “Mission to Glam” event, her hair was back to a dark brown shade.

Supportive of her children’s various endeavors, Jenner was present at the NikeSkims “Bodies at Work” presentation at the New York Public Library earlier this month which debuted pieces from the collaboration between the athletic brand and Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand. Jenner wore all black on that occasion too, as did Kim and Khloé Kardashian; the matriarch had Nike Air Superfly sneakers on foot to go with latex pants and a zip-up.
