Kristin and Kyle Juszczyk Embrace Classic Footwear Styles for ESPYs 2025 Red Carpet

Kristin and Kyle Juszczyk coordinated in elevated dress shoes as they walked the 2025 ESPY Awards red carpet in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

For the occasion, Kristin chose a pair of silver strappy stilettos, which align with the shimmery metallic colors celebrities have been wearing to their recent appearances. The shoes featured a rounded-toe upper highlighted by a matching silver strap across the toe box. The back of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, but they were likely designed with a closed-back style that secured her feet in place, and had an estimated height of around 3 to 4 inches.

Pairing her footwear with a bright pink buckled halter dress with a pleated front that cinched at the waist for an hourglass shape that complemented her figure, she styled her hair in a slicked-back side-part bun, accessorizing her ensemble with two silver choker necklaces.

As for her NFL star husband, Kyle, he kept it minimalist in black loafers featuring a pointed-toe design, which he paired with a black button-down dress shirt and matching chinos. Kristin wasn’t the only one to choose strappy sandals for the ESPYs red carpet. Gabby Thomas also got in on the trend, opting for a sleek pair of strappy stilettos featuring a square-toe upper, made with patent leather, and characterized by a slender white strap across the toe box. A second strap was also present on the silhouette, which crossed diagonally along the mid-foot for an eye-catching appearance. Completing the silhouette was a stiletto heel with an elevated height of approximately 4 to 5 inches. Also present was a midfoot strap that appeared to wrap around her ankle for added security.

Ilona Maher was also spotted wearing a pair of black strappy sandals that tapped into the barely there shoe trend dominating red carpets with a single toe strap, a minimalist vamp and a thin stiletto heel that disappeared under her gown’s hem. The shoes were paired with a matching cutout halter gown that included a plunging neckline and side cutouts for a daring look.

The 2025 ESPY Awards, hosted by comedian Shane Gillis, air live on Wednesday from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and stream on ESPN+. The annual event, presented by ESPN, brings together elite athletes, celebrities and sports fans to celebrate the most memorable achievements, moments and stories from the past year in sports.
