Livvy Dunne showcases gymnastics makeup prep
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors
Livvy Dunne's fifth and final season as a LSU gymnast is getting closer, and right now, she's kicking it into high gear. And after five years, not only does she slay on the mat, but she has her makeup routine down to a T.
On Monday, December 16, Dunne, 22, and the LSU gymnastics team attended the annual Gymnastics 101 exhibition meet at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on LSU's campus. During the meet, Dunne and her teammates showed off their routines ahead of the upcoming season. But before the meet, Dunne took to her Snapchat Story, showing her followers how she gets glammed up for big meets.
In one photo, Dunne appears to be makeup-free, wearing a big, cozy purple LSU sweater. "Makeup time," wrote Dunne in text overlaying the photo.

Shortly after, the gymnast and influencer shared another photo to her story, with her face contoured and made-up, with a clever caption reading "all dunne." Though she didn't go into detail about what her routine consists of, her phone case, which contained a tube of Rhode makeup, hints that she's quite fond of Hailey Bieber's brand.

Dunne's boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, was in attendance at the meet, cheering her on from the stands. Both star athletes who excel in their fields, Dunne and Skenes are often outspoken in their support for one another. Last month, Dunne went viral for her visible excitement as Skenes, 22, was named the MLB Rookie of the Year for the past baseball season.

The previous year's gymnastics season proved remarkable for the LSU gymnastics team, who won the 2024 NCAA national gymnastics championship in April.
The gymnasts will officially kick off their 2025 season on Friday, January 3, 2025, when they face off against the Iowa State gymnastics team.
