Max Amini Signs With UTA (EXCLUSIVE)
Max Amini has signed with UTA for representation in all areas.
The comedian and actor is coasting off a 2025 global tour, where he performed 150 sold-out shows across 19 countries, and is set to headline Madison Square Garden in February.
With a co-sign from Jerry Seinfeld, Amini has become one of 2025’s fastest-growing comics. His stand-up special on YouTube, “Randomly Selected,” has racked up 16 million views. And he boasts more than 25 million followers and subscribers across social platforms. He specifically has a large footprint in India, which accounts for 32% of his global audience. With 12 sold-out shows in the region, the Iranian American funnyman is the highest ticket-selling international comedian in India.
Outside of stand-up, Amini is the founder of Abstraction Media, a production banner under which he has directed and developed film, TV and documentary projects. In 2022, he directed the narrative feature film “James the Second,” a coming-of-age drama about a teenage boy with a rare disorder that prevents him from feeling pain. And he helmed the docuseries “Diaspora,” an anthology spotlighting the personal experiences of influential immigrants from around the world. Amini also directed Enissa Amani’s Netflix special “Ehrenwort” and spearheaded the car-focused reality series “MaxWheel” and a 24-episode talk show for Voice of America titled “Minutes With Max.”
His acting credits include NBC’s “Heroes” and Rob Schneider’s Netflix sitcom “Real Rob,” on which he played Stalker Steve across nine episodes. Ten years before he released “Randomly Selected” on YouTube, Amini put out the special “Authentically Absurd,” which was directed by Schneider.
