Michael Jordan’s New Dad Shoe Will Be Released in an Earthy ‘Cave Stone’ Colorway

The upcoming releases of the new Jordan Trunner O/S “dad shoe” are beginning to pile up after a new batch of official images have hit the internet. This time, it’s the Cave Stone style that leaked first which makes a reappearance. 

With a full colorway of Cave Stone/Black/Ridgerock/Moon Particle, this may be the most dad shoe-leaning look yet in the Jordan Trunner O/S lineup. It’s hard to not see traces of New Balance in its mix of grays and taupe, but make no mistake, this is a wholly Jumpman affair. 

A revitalization of the brand’s defunct half-trainer, half-running shoe franchise, the upcoming Trunner O/S uses some elements of late 1990s and early 2000s Trunner offerings, but updates the design for a more contemporary look. There’s a chunky foam midsole, supportive TPU cage and plenty of reflective accents which fit well with today’s lifestyle runner aesthetic.

Beyond the new O/S model, fans of the franchise have even more to look forward to as the retro Jordan Trunner LX is receiving a reissue this year, with select styles in stores now. The Trunner LX is the most well-known model in the Trunner line and was memorably the shoe chosen for Travis Scott’s first Jordan collaboration, although that pair was never released to the public. 

Other Jordan Trunner O/S styles of note include an all-black “Black Cat” look and an ACG-like Archaeo Brown/Persian Violet as well as pink/black and University Red colorways. Exact release dates have not been confirmed, but the sneaker is expected to begin hitting retailers in the coming weeks. 

The Jordan Trunner O/S Cave Stone/Black/Ridgerock/Moon Particle has a style code of IB3722-201 and will be priced at $115 when it arrives later this year.
