Microsoft Raises Xbox Console Prices in U.S. for Second Time This Year
Microsoft‘s Xbox announced Friday it will again be raising the price of its gaming consoles in the United States, marking the second hike of 2025.
As of Oct. 3, the recommended retail price for an Xbox Series X will now be $649.99 and for a Series S 1TB model, the price will be $449.99. The last price increase for Xbox consoles came in May, when the cost of a Series X went up by $100 to $599.99.
Microsoft has confirmed U.S. pricing for Xbox controllers and headsets will remain the same, as will current console pricing in all other markets.
Pricing for products in all other markets will remain the same.
