Nike’s Most Advanced Running Shoe Is Getting an On-Trend Realtree Camo Makeover

Nike’s Vomero running franchise has received a huge overhaul in 2025 beginning with February’s Vomero 18 release. Then, in August, the brand introduced the Vomero Plus, an upgraded version which replaced the Vomero 18’s combination of ReactX and ZoomX foams with a full ZoomX underfoot setup. Then, in October, the Vomero Premium arrived in all of its 55mm stack height glory. With one of the chunkiest midsole configurations across the brand, the Vomero Premium’s ZoomX foam is paired with visible Air Zoom units at the forefoot and heel.

After releasing and promptly selling out from most stockists in nearly every style released thus far, the Vomero Premium will soon debut with an on-trend Realtree camouflage-patterned midsole. Nike designers didn’t opt for full camo coverage on this pair, instead opting for a black engineered mesh upper. The Vomero Premium’s Air More Uptempo-inspired lateral and medial “AIR” branding remains intact, while the ZoomX midsole takes on a dark Realtree Edge pattern.

The most striking part of the new colorway is just how unexpected it is. Thus far, the Vomero Premium has been presented in colorful, vibrant looks — even the model’s other black colorway is accented with bright volt Zoom Air units. But this upcoming Realtree pair represents the most toned-down style for the sneaker yet, one which almost veers into lifestyle territory.

Much like the Vomero line, Realtree camouflage has been a top trend of ’25. Popularized through vintage and workwear clothing, the outdoors pattern has infiltrated fashion and was even featured prominently in a recent Jordan Brand apparel collection.
