Nike’s Releasing a New Air Force 1 With Premium Materials and Metal Hardware
Rivet-adorned and studded sneakers have been a consistent trend in 2025 and the releases aren’t slowing down yet. In addition to a just-released premium Vans OTW Old Skool 36, Nike is getting in on the action with a premium version of its timeless Air Force 1 sneaker.
With a relatively simplistic Black/Summit White/Metallic Dark Grey color combination, this new Air Force 1 Low PRM is anything but plain. Built with a black premium leather upper, each of the shoe’s signature perforation holes are filled in with metal studs which are dotted on the toe box and heel and appear in star shapes beneath the medial and lateral Swoosh logos.
Even the inside of the sneaker was considered, with a diamond-quilted liner instead of the standard cloth material. To further accentuate the two-tone look, a pair of black-bordered white shoelaces come in the style, and a solid black pair of laces are also included.

This isn’t the first upgraded Air Force 1 set to arrive this holiday season. The most significant change to the model appears on the Air Force 1 Low GTX Vibram, which is equipped with waterproof Gore-Tex liners. Meanwhile, the University of Oregon’s Ducks of a Feather brand will also be releasing two new “What Came First?” styles of the sneaker on Black Friday. And in 2026, the sneaker’s shrouded leafy fall colorway will freshen up with a springtime cherry blossom look.
Although an exact release date has not been confirmed, official e-commerce product images are an indicator that this Nike Air Force 1 Low PRM (style code IM6643-010) could be released soon. It’s expected to arrive at select Nike Sportswear retailers and from nike.com in December for a retail price of $120.
