Palestinians report 25 dead in Israeli strike on Nuseirat in Gaza
An Israeli strike in the central section of the Gaza Strip resulted in numerous fatalities on Thursday, according to Palestinian reports.
At least 25 Palestinians have lost their lives in the refugee district of Nuseirat, medical sources in the Gaza Strip said. According to these sources, Israel’s military targeted residential buildings there.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA simultaneously reported dozens of injuries in Nuseirat. According to the report, the Israeli Air Force struck a building and neighbouring houses multiple times. Footage on social media allegedly shows medics later carrying some motionless and bleeding individuals into a hospital.
The details could not be independently verified at first. Israel’s army stated it was looking into the report upon inquiry.
WAFA reported a total of 70 fatalities throughout the day due to Israeli strikes at various locations in the Gaza Strip.
