Paris Texas’ Chic Lidia Mules Are Having a Moment, and Emily Ratajkowski Is the Latest Star to Wear Them

Emily Ratajkowski wore one of the buzziest shoes of 2025 during an interview with “Late Night With Seth Meyers” on Wednesday. The model was spotted all over New York this week for the “Too Much” press tour wearing a pair of sleek Paris Texas Lidia mules in black patent leather multiple times.

She popped on the shoes for the late-night appearance and paired them with a turquoise snake print keyhole dress from Tom Ford for Gucci’s spring 2000 collection. Paris Texas offers the Lidia mules in a variety of colors and heel heights, but Ratajkowski opted for the version with a heel measuring a towering 105mm.

The popular Lidia mule features a glossy, minimal design with an almond toe and the style’s signature pin-thin heel. The barely there shoes feature an open-toe shoe with a strap across the upper that goes straight across the vamp, that is made of polyester and spandex. The shoes retail for $645.

Ratajkowski was styled by Danielle Goldberg in several looks for her TV appearances this week, and Goldberg selected the chic mules for a few of the model’s fashion moments. Ratajkowski also wore them earlier in the day for a taping of the “Today” show, wearing an all-black ensemble with a buttoned blazer by Emily Dawn Long and capris. She also dressed the Paris Texas shoe down with a Bode skater T-shirt and black capris. While the shoes already have a cult following on TikTok, no one can popularize a shoe quite like Ratajkowski, whose shoes often go viral whenever she steps outside for a walk with her dog in New York.

The Lidia style is one of the most popular designs from Paris Texas, and is recognizable thanks to the ultra-slim heel. The shoes are also available in a slingback version, a Mary Jane style, a sandal version and more. This is the second time this week that Lidia is the shoe of choice for a celebrity. Madelyn Cline put on a nude pair for Monday’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” premiere in Los Angeles. Millie Bobby Brown also wore them in a deep red color for “The Electric State” premiere in London in March.

Paris Texas is a made in Italy shoe brand that was founded by Annamaria Brivio in Milan in 2015. The shoes have been gaining popularity after being worn by stylish celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, Tyla, Ciara, Dua Lipa and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, who tapped the brand to design custom Western-inspired boots for her “Cowboy Carter” tour.
