Peplum Dresses Are Trending on the SAG Awards 2025 Red Carpet
If one needs proof that the peplum trend is back, look no further than the red carpet at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles.
Stars including Mikey Madison, Demi Moore and Elle Fanning revived the flared silhouette, which had a major moment in the 2010s. It has since made a comeback in the current decade, with Nicole Kidman and Emma Stone modeling peplum gowns at the Academy Awards in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
Ahead, see all of the peplum looks at the 2025 SAG Awards.
Demi Moore

Moore modeled a custom strapless leather corset gown by Bottega Veneta, which featured a tiered pleated skirt. The actress added on yellow gold and diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co.’s Jean Schlumberger collection, as well as a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.
Brad Goreski, who works with “Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park and Liv Tyler, styled Moore for the occasion. Moore wore her long tresses in waves, courtesy of hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. Makeup artist Rokael Lizama used Dior cosmetics to give her pink blush, a smokey eye and highlighted inner corners.
Elle Fanning

Fanning sported a custom strapless gown by Loewe, including a satin skirt. The actress accessorized with emerald and diamond Cartier Panthère jewels, including a matching cocktail ring, necklace and bangle.
Fanning was dressed by Samantha McMillen, who also counts Kirsten Dunst, Jodie Foster and Daisy Ridley as clients. Hairdresser Jenda styled Fanning’s blond lob in a side part, while makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe gave her sparkly eyeshadow, black eyeliner, rosy blush and a bold red lip.
Mikey Madison

Madison had a Cinderella moment in a custom pearl grey design by Louis Vuitton. Her strapless gown featured a darted bodice and a draped peplum skirt. Madison’s accessories included matching satin pumps, also by Vuitton, and diamond-encrusted jewelry by Tiffany & Co.
The “Anora” star was styled by Jamie Mizrahi, whose clients also include Adele and Jennifer Lawrence. Hairdresser Rena Calhoun straightened Madison’s dark mane, while her makeup look, created by Melissa Hernandez, consisted of black eyeliner, rosy blush and a bold red lip.
Moeka Hoshi

Moeka Hoshi wore a custom silk satin embroidered bustier gown with a tulip shaped mousseline skirt and silver platform sandals by Louis Vuitton. The “Shogun” star also added on a silver statement ring by Sterling Forever. Hoshi was dressed by Jason Rembert, stylist to Queen Latifah and Lily Gladstone.
Ali Ahn

Ali Ahn of “The Diplomat” wore an asymmetrical Ashi Studio gown with a molded bodice and pleated skirt. A necklace and earrings by Pamela Zamore jewelry completed her look.
