‘Saturday Night Live’ Cold Open Features Sabrina Carpenter’s Return In A Domingo Sketch

Saturday Night Live skipped major news events this week and went with a Domingo cold open, this time with Sabrina Carpenter’s spoof of Taylor Swift’s “The Fate Of Ophelia.”

The sketch centers on a wife, Kelsey, whose affair with Domingo (Marcello Hernandez) is revealed to her husband, Matthew, via a group of off-key girl friends. In the fourth Domingo sketch since it was introduced last year, Matt is celebrating his 30th birthday but is surprised by his wife’s friends, who sing about their recent trip to Nashville before Domingo arrives.

Carpenter appeared in a Domingo sketch on the SNL 50th anniversary special in February.
