The Traitors USA cast revealed: Lord of the Rings star and Real Housewives among contestants
The next cast of The Traitorshas been set.
Set at a secluded castle in the Scottish Highlands, Peacock’s competition show follows a group of people divided into Faithful and Traitors, all vying for a cash prize. Traitors have the goal to eliminate the Faithful by murdering them one by one and nab the prize for themselves, while the Faithful try to determine who the Traitors are and banish them from the game, sharing the jackpot winnings at the end.
The series originated in the U.K. but has found a solid audience following its U.S. launch in 2023. A new spin-off, The Traitors: New Blood — which puts civilians in the competition instead of celebrities — premiered earlier this week.
Following previous iterations, season six will be hosted by Alan Cumming and include a cast consisting of reality TV and internet stars, actors, singers, and athletes.
Slated to premiere in 2027, the season six cast will feature Lord of the Rings star Dominic Monaghan, Tony and Emmy-winning actor Kristin Chenoweth and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, among other celebrity players.

The most recent season of the game of deception began with controversy and reached its fiery conclusion earlier this year, with a showdown involving U.K. Love Island favorite Maura Higgins, Olympic figure skaters Tara Lipinski and Jonny Weir (both of whom were Faithful), Love Island USA star Rob Rausch and K-pop singer Eric Nam (both of whom were Traitors).

In the final episode, Rausch, who was considered the heartthrob of the season by many, got Higgins to trust his side, leading to Weir, then Lapinski being banished. Then, with Rausch having convinced Higgins that they were both Faithful and could split the prize pot, they banished Rausch's fellow Traitor Nam.
The final scene saw the pair reveal their identities, with Higgins shocked to learn that 27-year-old Rausch — a snake wrangler in his past life — was a Traitor and had robbed her of her split of the pot. “You pinky-promised,” she told him, then cutting him off with a “don't speak” when he tried to console her.
During the show’s reunion, Higgins stated that she would only forgive Rausch for the betrayal if he bought her a Hermès Birkin bag.
