New York’s sprawling parks can be both a respite from, and an amplification of, the rhythms of the city. For the cover of the November 3, 2025, issue, the artist Victoria Tentler-Krylov painted the colorful scene that takes place in front of Little Island, one of the newer additions to the roster. “Nothing beats a ride or a stroll along Hudson River Park on a nice day,” Tentler-Krylov said. “I love not only watching all the performative fitness but also observing the nooks and crannies that grow, bloom, and change colors with the seasons.”
