First Lady of France Brigitte Macron concluded her visit to Vietnam on Tuesday morning, after spending the weekend in the Southeast Asian country with her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron. The couple attended a state dinner hosted by Vietnam‘s President Luong Cuong and his wife, Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, among other official events.
Throughout their stay in Vietnam, Brigitte Macron showcased her penchant for tailoring and designer pieces. She first arrived in the country on Sunday, donning a vibrant red blazer paired with black trousers. The blazer featured a tailored fit with structured shoulders and was a subtle nod to Vietnam’s traditional red color. In the country, red is considered a symbol of good luck.

On Monday, Macron paid tribute at a war memorial in Hanoi to those who resisted French colonial rule and visited the historic 11th-century Temple of Literature. She wore a champagne silk dress featuring a high, gathered neckline and dramatic balloon sleeves with fitted cuffs. The dress was cinched at the waist with a matching belt and circular buckle.
