YouTube Star PrestonPlayz Sets Advertising Sales Partnership With Digital Agency Studio71
YouTube star and gaming creator PrestonPlayz has set an advertising sales partnership with digital agency Studio71 for the portfolio of channels managed under his The Best Never Rest banner.
Based in Dallas, PrestonPlayz counts more than 90 million social media followers, including 17 million for his YouTube channel. He has built up a collection of six gaming creator channels and merchandise that is marketed under the TBNR and PrestonPlayz banner. Studio71 is a Los Angeles-based digital agency that helps clients produce and distribute content across an array of social media channels. It also packages creator content to help them reach a higher level of advertising and sponsorship options.
“Our goal is simple; create joyful content and make it easy for great brands to show up in ways fans truly love and respond to,” said Kevin Elguer, who is chief revenue officer for TBNR. “We’re excited to partner with Studio71 and take TBNR to new heights. We are looking forward to what we can build together.”
Preston, as he is known, was an early YouTube content creator who launched his channel in 2012. He was among the first to score with personality-driven “Minecraft”-related content. He is known for producing videos that are “high-energy, family-friendly videos that mix humor, creativity, and competitive gameplay,” according to Studio71.
Studio71 emphasized that creators with advertiser-friendly content at the scale of PrestonPlayz are reaching a moment of critical mass. PrestonPlayz will benefit from being part of Studio71’s larger advertising networks.
“Preston has built one of the most successful creator businesses in gaming, with an audience that continues to grow and evolve,” said Matt Crowley, co-CEO of Studio71. “We’re thrilled to partner with him and unlock new revenue opportunities through premium advertising and brand activations.”
