Zelensky attends Ukraine military aid meeting in Germany
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Germany for talks with Western allies about their continued support in the defence against the Russian invasion.
Zelensky took part in the opening session of the Ukraine Contact Group at the US Air Force base in Ramstein in the morning.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius also joined the talks which focus on military aid for Kiev.
Following recent devastating Russian airstrikes, Kiev is particularly pushing for increased deliveries of anti-aircraft systems.
Zelensky was expected to travel from Ramstein to Frankfurt later for a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in the early afternoon.
