Look at this very obvious crew member’s hand in Superman. It can’t be a soldier; the hand isn’t wearing a glove, and it’s a normal sleeve, not an army uniform.
You can see it a little more easily in the GIF.

Also in Superman, these characters aren’t actually recording (which would turn the red circle into a square, and show how long they’d been recording on the screen).

Listen, Kpop Demon Hunters is a near-perfect film, but...Rumi’s zipper does disappear during the movie.

Check out the shadow difference between Smoke and Stack in this scene from Sinners.

You can obviously see that they replaced the hand in this shot from War of the Worlds — the greenscreen is visible underneath.

This stunt person from Thunderbolts* obviously came in too early, so he just kind of waves his gun around until he fights Bucky.

In the same film, the Red Guardians’ chin strap switches between fastened and unfastened states between shots.

Similarly, in this moment from It, Beverly’s pen cap disappears, then reappears between shots.

These chickens from Gladiator II wouldn’t have existed in the third century (older breeds were much smaller and looked way different).

I love it when historical films have glaringly modern elements they forgot to remove. For example, this actor from The Outlaw Johnny Black is wearing a smartwatch.

This shot from Fantastic Four (the 2005 version) was definitely mirrored during editing, given the backwards “4” on the Human Torch’s outfit.

Check out this errant background guy wearing a cowboy hat from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

This scene from Oppenheimer uses modern American flags with all 50 stars (for the fifty states), even though it’s set before Alaska and Hawaii became states.

This cameraperson in bright blue shorts is pretty darn visible (for multiple seconds!) in Back to the Future Part III.

Obi-Wan’s lightsaber switches between shots in this scene from Star Wars Episode 3.

Speaking of Star Wars — check out this shot, where Palpatine is in focus, and the background is blurred…except the stars, which are randomly crystal clear.

Uhhh, is this waterfall flowing BACKWARDS in Anaconda?

Mike Meyers straight-up forgot to wear his blue contacts when playing Dr. Evil in Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Check out this scene from Superman: The Movie (the 1978 one) where Christopher Reeve’s fillings can be seen. I guess it’s possible that Superman has fillings, but I’m still counting this as a mistake. I can’t imagine Superman at the dentist.

It feels like a MASSIVE oversight that they forgot to cover up RZA’s Wu-Tang tattoo in American Gangster. The movie is set in the ’60s; Wu-Tang Clan (of which RZA is a member) was formed in the ’90s.

I guess it makes sense that any movie with one actor playing two characters may have some editing issues, but still, I am truly mystified at how this one (from Dead Ringers) even happened. Focus on the left twin; he just fades away/becomes transparent as he leaves the frame.

This block from Raiders of the Lost Ark is laughably fake; you can see it bounce after Indy pushes it.

How did they not notice this MASSIVE camera in Bad Boys?

Reddit user post3rdude is convinced that they forgot to overlay Armie Hammer’s face over the stand-in for his character’s twin from The Social Network…I can’t decide what I think, so check it out below. They may have just overlaid his face kind of poorly?

This scene from The Harder They Fall has very odd shadows, considering it’s supposed to be at exactly noon.

Sometimes, errors just seem so avoidable. The school radio station Beca interns at in Pitch Perfect is 85.7 according to the sign, but on-air, it’s 95.7. Come on, people, just match the numbers!

This one’s small, but whoever shot this insert from Constantine seems to have never used a media player before. Angela clicks the restart button instead of the rewind one.

This Quasimodo reference from A Knight’s Tale (which takes place in the fourteenth century) should not be there, considering The Hunchback of Notre Dame didn’t come out until 1831.

The plane randomly switches from three rows of seats to two as Bea walks from economy to business in Anyone But You.

The “waterbed” in A Minecraft Movie was clearly set up by someone who has never seen a waterbed and has no idea how they work.

Sabine’s in the background of this Mr. Bean’s Holiday scene, despite her not having arrived yet.

I don’t even get how they got this one wrong — in The Shining, the door Johnny puts his axe through obviously has two holes. But when they feature it in the sequel, Doctor Sleep, it has one. Did they even watch The Shining?

In Batman Forever, after Alfred is knocked out, you can see him move his tray so no one trips on it.

Also in Batman Forever, you can spot Jim Carrey waiting for his cue in the wings of one scene — his bright green Riddler suit makes it pretty obvious.

In Encino Man, there’s a moment where you can clearly tell it’s not Sean Astin in the background.

Since Bruce Lee died before Game of Death was completed, there are scenes when you can clearly tell it’s not him — like when they taped a cardboard cutout of his face to a mirror and had an extra’s body in the reflection.
