Gabriel Iglesias and Lori Greiner are set to guest star in “Shifting Gears” Season 2, Variety has learned exclusively.

Both Iglesias and Greiner will be playing themselves in the ABC multi-cam comedy, which returns for its sophomore season on Oct. 1 on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu. Tim Allen and Kat Dennings star in the show along with Seann William Scott, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis.

Additional guest stars in Season 2 include Allen’s former “Home Improvement” co-stars Patricia Richardson, Debbe Dunning and Richard Karn, as well as Dennings’ former “Dollface” co-star Lilly Singh and LA Dodgers Mookie Betts. Allen’s “Last Man Standing” co-star Nancy Travis will return to guest star, as will Jenna Elfman.

This will mark the second onscreen collaboration between Iglesias and Allen, as Iglesias previously appeared in Allen’s Disney+ series “The Santa Clauses.” Greiner, who currently appears on the ABC series “Shark Tank,” previously played herself on fellow ABC multi-cam “Dr. Ken.”

In addition to his stellar career as a stand up comedian, Iglesias is also an accomplished actor. He is known for starring in the Netflix multi-cam “Mr. Iglesias” as well as shows like “Cristela” and films like the two “Magic Mike” movies, “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” and “Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado.”

He is repped by CAA, Arsonhouse Entertainment, and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum.

In addition to her role in “Dr. Ken,” Greiner has also played herself in shows like “Grace and Frankie,” “Little America,” and “Baskets.” Greiner is best known for her entrepreneurship, which includes designing consumer products, household items, and much more. She also hosts the popular QVC show “Clever & Unique Creations.”

The official logline for “Shifting Gears” states that it follows “Matt (Allen), the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When his estranged daughter, Riley (Dennings), and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”

Allen executive produces along with Michelle Nader, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, John Pasquin, Jim Patterson, Bob Daily and John Amodeo. Dennings serves as a producer. 20th Television is the studio.
