Akshaye Khanna Has Been Quietly Brilliant For Years, So Let’s Talk About It (And Take A Quiz)

I saw Akshaye Khanna in the Dhurandhar teaser the other day, and honestly? That one shot was enough to get the group chats going. It’s wild how he shows up for two seconds and suddenly everyone remembers just how consistently good he’s been, and how we’ve never fully given him his due.

I remember watching him in 36 China Town—playing that mysterious cop and casually singing "Mujhe Tujhme Badi Dilchaspi Hai"—then completely forgetting about it, only to rewatch the film years later and think, “Wait… he really didn’t get enough credit for this.”

He’s been stealing scenes for years, and every now and then he throws in a surprise, like playing Aurangzeb in Chhaava, which had people losing it over how perfectly he nailed the role.

So if you’ve ever watched an Akshaye Khanna movie and thought, “Wait, why don’t we talk about him more?”, this is your cue to look back and vote: which Akshaye performance has been your all-time favorite?

So, did you make some impossible choices? Geez.

If your favorite didn’t make the list, that’s your sign to rewatch it tonight and remind everyone why Akshaye Khanna’s been that guy all along.

Or yell about it in the comments like a true Akshaye Khanna loyalist.
