Alex Rodriguez to Be the Face of Look Optic’s Launch Into Menswear
Look Optic has tapped former Major League Baseball star Alex Rodriguez to help it break into the men’s market.
The eyewear brand, known for its lightweight reading glasses, has collaborated with Rodriguez on a capsule collection that will launch early next year. He will also serve as an adviser and brand ambassador for the company.
“I’ve always looked for opportunities where great products meet strong leadership,” Rodriguez said, “and Look Optic checks both boxes. Their glasses are high-quality, affordable and stylish — and I’m excited to help bring that to more people, especially as they launch into men’s.”
“Alex is not only a legendary athlete and mentor, but also an accomplished businessman with a trusted voice that resonates across audiences,” added Andrew Leary, founder of Look Optic. “We’re thrilled to welcome him as a partner as we take this important step forward with the launch of our men’s collection.”
Look has collaborated in the past with tennis champion Venus Williams, actress Eva Mendes and the late Diane Keaton for its women’s offering.
Look Optic has built a reputation for eyewear that combines elevated design with lightweight comfort at a price more accessible than prescription glasses. All frames are made from recycled materials and offer scratch-resistant lenses that filter blue light and provide UVA/UVB protection.
