James Gunn And David Corenswet Pranked This “Superman” Fan, And It Ended Up Being Hilariously Wholesome

Superman – the movie we’ve all been waiting for – is finally here.

The cast have been on an immense press tour, and when Jude Yawson, a writer and Superman super-fan, was called in to talk to David Corenswet, director James Gunn decided he was the perfect subject for a good old prank.

Jude was ready to talk all about the movie, but unbeknownst to him, his interview had been hijacked: James was telling David what to say through an earpiece.

And very quickly, things got weird.

David revealed some shocking behind-the-scenes "facts" about his co-stars.

And some (fake, don't worry) spoilers.

Despite being visibly bewildered, Jude handled it like a pro.

We don't want to spoil the reveal, but the whole prank ended up being really wholesome.

And David definitely proved that he is indeed a fun guy.
